How is 1st Contractors School study system?

At our school we have a unique and effective preparation system, which allows a very high percentage of approved students. 

The first phase begins with the preparation of the books. We select the most important subjects of the examination. This work is done before starting the course, through our web page.
Once the books are finished with our exclusive system, the second phase begins. In this phase, classes are developed over several weeks depending on the type of course and the school’s schedule. We cover all areas that will appear on the exam. The third phase consists of seminars held every week, where the skills and knowledge necessary to pass the exam are practiced and improved. We offer you the option to take these seminars at our campuses, or through our website at 1stcontractors.com

1st Contractors School tiene un sistema único y efectivo de preparación para los exámenes, obteniendo un rendimiento y porcentaje muy alto de estudiantes aprobados. Éste sistema está desarrollado en 3 fases; La primera fase comienza cuando el estudiante adquiere los libros con el material especial con el cual se va a preparar los libros, una vez que los libros están terminados con nuestro material exclusivo de 1st Contractors School, empieza la segunda fase que es la del curso, éstas clases se desarrollan a lo largo de varias semanas dependiendo del tipo de curso y de la programación de la escuela. La última fase consiste en la preparación final para el examen, haciéndose todas las semana diferentes prácticas de examen donde se refuerzan los conocimientos aprendidos en las clases. What are the requirements to get a Florida contractors license?There are two types of Florida contractor licenses: Certified and Registered.

Depending on the type of license you wish to obtain, there are different requirements. 

Being a registered contractor allows you to work only in a county or municipality. Registered contractors must meet local requirements for counties or municipalities and obtain a local competency card and occupational license.

If, instead, you wish to be able to work anywhere in Florida you will need to be certified, for which you will have to pass the Florida contractors exam, be older than 18 years of age, demonstrate financial responsibility, have good moral character, and provide proof of experience within the scope of the license.

 

 

 

 

Solar Contractor

A “Solar Contractor” means a contractor whose services consist of the installation, alteration, repair, maintenance, relocation, or replacement of solar panels for potable solar water heating systems, swimming pool solar heating systems, and photovoltaic systems and any appurtenances, apparatus, or equipment used in connection with these systems.
